Fortel Group, the leading supplier of labour and concrete flooring to the construction industry, is celebrating 25 years in business with a series of fundraising events aiming to raise £25,000 for charity.

These events will include a Cancer Research UK Race for Life, a walk across Snowdonia National Park, and a Tough Mudder challenge. Volunteers from across Fortel will come together to take on the challenges while raising money for good causes.

Established in 1998, the Fortel Group, which includes Nexus Security and Skyblue Recruitment, has emerged as a trusted and innovative force in the construction industry. Over the past 25 years, the company has continually demonstrated its dedication to delivering excellence in construction services, while also prioritising corporate social responsibility and philanthropy.

The five events not only celebrate the company’s successful journey but also provide an opportunity for employees, partners, and the wider community to come together and contribute towards meaningful causes. These events have been carefully selected to offer a range of challenges, ensuring participation for individuals with different interests and fitness levels.

The fundraising efforts will be facilitated through the JustGiving platform, with a dedicated team page set up at https://www.justgiving.com/team/fortelgroup. This allows supporters to contribute directly towards Fortel’s target of £25,000. Every donation received will make a difference and contribute to the positive impact Fortel aims to achieve.

Sat Nijjer, CEO of Fortel, said: “We are thrilled to be celebrating 25 years of Fortel – a testament to the dedication and hard work of our employees, partners, and stakeholders. As we reflect on our achievements both in the UK and India through the company set up by my father Surinder, it is important for us to give back to the community that has supported us throughout the years. Through these five fundraising events, we will be donating over £25,000 to charitable causes and making a positive impact.”
